Garvita Gulhati

    Ms. Garvita Gulhati is a young Environmentalist from Bengaluru. Currently she is pursuing bachelor’s degree in B.Tech Engineering from PES University. Ms. Gulhati is a founder of “Why waste?”, which provides simple yet effective solutions to change behavior & mindset of society around water as a resource. Through Why Waste? She has convinced thousands of restaurants in India to be more mindful of their water usage. Garvita believes in the power of collaboration (with likeminded organization) to act jointly for a positive change in society and respectively world. She has successfully sparked her key initiative – #GlassHalfFull movement across many countries.

    Miss Gulhati has been recognized as “World’s Youngest Environmentalist”, “Top 8 change makers of 2018” and nominee of “The Hindu Business Line Young Change maker of the year 2018”. In addition Garvita has also launched a country wide initiative “Lead Young at Schools” in association with “Ashoka Innovators for the Public” to inspire students to be change makers across different cities in India.
